Minecraft works great with Intel 4000 pro but you have to turn off VBOs in
the video settings.

This can be solved by going into the video options and turning off VBOs.
I believe my bug is this one: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-69090 which also seemingly is mistakenly redirected to the wrong bug.
I don't believe that's correct. I've been able to play 1.7.5 and a few of the snapshots since. Besides, I have an Intel HD Graphics 4000 chipset, which isn't the one that bug covers.
This problem also occurs in 14w34d but not 14w33c.
Same problem.

What do you mean by create a separate report? It seems like this one makes sense to me.
