MCPE-81777 Villagers lock onto player beds that they can't pathfind to and will not sleep in the beds next to their workstations. Duplicate

Still an issue in version 1.16.2.

Can confirm that it happens in 1.16.1. Using an R7 1700X and RX 5500XT and my FPS was cut in half with about fifty signs in one area, some with text, some without (water elevator). FPS boosted back to nominal levels.

OP, I'm having an issue where villagers REFUSE to find a new bed, and have decided that the player beds will be their beds. That means that I have what I call the "wall gang" stuck to the walls of my house getting themselves killed at night and never going to bed.

I assume this is due to the hierarchical issues where villagers cannot independently select a bed for themselves based upon their ability to pathfind to it?

I can also confirm this bug. I run a quaint little server for me, my friends, and my little siblings. Dual-core i5 4th gen laptop. Ran with minimal lag during 1.13.1 days. Now its performance gets progressively worse over the course of an hour or even less until a crash occurs. If I remember I will attach a picture of the server RAM usage – it looks pretty weird, like it rises up to a point, then suddenly drops and begins to rise again, rinse and repeat. I'm not sure if this helps but if anyone has any questions I'd be happy to answer.

The bug has been partially fixed. While animals will now jump over a block when you are luring them, they will immediately "lose interest" and stop following you. In the end, I just decided to use the lead I had cheated in last update. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
