MCPE-66579 Minecraft Ninendo Switch account error -3 is now error -9 after 1.14.20 update, still no marketplace access Duplicate

The error -9 is gone...but my two kids profiles on the Nintendo switch cannot access the marketplace..when I try to access it on my kids profiles it tries connecting then after a little bit it displays unable to connect, maybe check your internet connection? On my profile the access to the marketplace works just fine like always.

If Kelly Henckel is still in here, I am still waiting for a response on the Nintendo switch minecraft account error affecting my kids accounts. Thank you.

Hi Kelly, I started the one thread about the -3 error going to a -9 error. if i am still having issues in my Nintendo switch, I create a new private thread..but when I do, I do not see the field to add a label? For me, we have no Microsoft accounts tied to the switch. My Nintendo account was the first to be created and then I created my two kids Nintendo accounts. Everything was working fine up until Dec last year, after a game update I believe, then just my kids accounts started getting the -3 error. This continued into following game updates where the error migrated over to the -9 error that it is now. Currently running minecraft version 1.14.60. When the kids load minecraft, after the Mojang loading screen where the background of minecraft begins they are immediately prompted with the dialogue box displaying the error -9 explaining an error with the account. Sorry if I’m repeating myself, but I wanted to make sure I set up the new ticket properly and that the info gets to you. Thank you.

I understand. I’ve tried reaching out to Mojang but all I’ve had in response is their backlog is high. Can you tell me anything about the -3/-9 error codes? I know Mojang said it was originally an error in their end.

I agree Marissa. My kids have too much time tied up in the many worlds they have created and I’m not about to tell them they have to start all over again. This is a Mojang error!! They said it was...it has nothing to do with any settings of ours, everything was working fine, all saves were working, and all accounts were working prior to Dec/19!!!

My kids Nintendo accounts have never had any restrictions. Before Dec/19 their Minecraft games worked, then there was an update and we started receiving the -3 error and I understand it was a fault on Mojang’s end. The error says its coming from the Microsoft login. We have never had Microsoft logins. In short, everything was working just fine, then the error started and hasn’t been better.

Well Jonathan, it doesn’t matter about the bug edition, it’s affecting my Nintendo switch Minecraft game and it hasn’t been fixed. That’s what matters. No one is debating the difference.
