Great investigative team work everyone! 😀 @lambx2 @Coach Turning off the smooth scroll for me solve it with my Logitech M240. First time I’ve ever used my Logi Options+ app. 👍
@Mega_Spud I have done further testing and found that:
- I get the problem with my Logi(tech) M240 (wireless) silent touch mouse
- I do not get the problem with Logitech M185 (wireless) and Logitech B110 (wired)
@Mega_Spud The problem occurs for me in single player local worlds. I do not have Realms.
You also asked about other devices…interestingly I get the problem with my wireless logitech mouse but not with a wired mouse. I have no other input devices.
I did just update my driver too (checking for an update within Windows claimed I was up-to-date but via AMD there was an update) which has made a difference. Not perfect but better than it was. If I keep some of the Vibrant Visual settings low performance and rendering is ok. I still get flicking of pixels just above the trees but not half as much as before. The clouds are better.
I have exactly the same issue as Luis Espinel. I run on Windows 11 also with AMD Radeon graphics.
My issue is exactly as Paul M describes. I am using Bedrock on Windows 11 v1.21.121:
Steps to Reproduce:
Move to a different item on the hotbar using the scroll on the mouse
Observed Results:
The camera shifts (seemingly) randomly to either look directly up at the sky or down at the ground or 180 degrees horizontally. After everytime I move position or look around the camera will jump when I scroll to a different hotbar item. If I am standing still looking in the same direction after I’ve experienced the camera jumpo and continue to scroll throuhg the hotbar then it won’t jump again (until after I move that is). This problem does not happen when I move to a hotbar item using the shortcut 1,2,3 etc keys on my keyboard. This only started happening after the 1.21.121 update.Expected Results:
When moving through the hotbar using my mouse scroll the camera should stay in the same position.
@Mega_Spud As a reminder, my problem started occurring following the 1.21.121 update with my Logitech M240 mouse. By turning the smooth scrolling OFF my problem was resolved.
I now have the 1.21.124 hot fix and have tested my M240 mouse with its smooth scrolling back ON. I am now finding that immediately after opening my world the camera only snaps on the first time I move across the hotbar with my mouse scroll. After that initial time, the camera snap does not occur…at least not to the degree it was doing. Now the camera snaps but it is barely perceptible - millimeters in the screen - but it does still move.
