Also of note with this bug, wolves stuck in flowing water can become permanently trapped until said water is adjusted; I lost three wolves to a half-filled pond and found them later wading in the shallow end, unable to jump out and unwilling to teleport away.

It's been three months and I'm still seeing the same issue. It's become a major impediment to travel, as I can't even travel between my house and nearest farm without them teleporting into at least one wall each. They make no attempt to free themselves beyond simply following me, and several have died as a direct result of this.
