Just realized this was a duplicate of another one.
I just didn't notice the original when researching
NEVERMIND I just fixed it!
To everybody wondering I just took all the resource packs out of my resource pack folder
I do have Norton Antivirus but I don't have GeForce Experience.
By the way I meant to say this in the description but this was happening not just in 1.12 but in other versions I tested (1.8, 1.7.10)
While I am aware that growth is random, I have consistently waited for hours at a time for one to grow without luck in my current session. After placing, they have consistently not changed age prior to relogging.
