@Luis: I may have found a workaround... I was going to an old village to check if I have the same behavior, and it was exactly the same, except in one small room with 2 villagers and 2 beds. I added 1 bed, dropped 12 carrots to each villager, they started to mate and... bim, a new baby villager ! The only difference was the heigh of the room: it was the only room with 3 vertical blocks of free space (all other rooms only have 2 blocks height).

So I go back to my new village, push up the roof 1 block, give foods... and bim, a new baby ! Can you check on your side if you have same behavior ?

@Luis I retried today. Added a newly created bed in each room. Giving food to villagers by night when they are in bed so I'm sure each villager receive 12 carrots. At the morning they start mating with lot of hearts, and in fact they get angry at the end and fail. So it's the same bug.

I'm sure all beds are valid because of bug MC-157367 : by night, from time to time, they wake up and start searching again a bed, and they can use any of the available beds.

@Bay Conner do you have also the breeding issue MC-157166 or only this one ?

Same issue here since 1.14.4 (Survival mode, java edition with a local server).

It was working fine in 1.14.3 : I created a new village from 2 zombie villagers (with a mob farm), I locked the 2 healed villagers in a building, and added beds and given carrots to have 8 villagers splitted in 4 locked buildings.

I upgraded to 1.14.4, but now breeding is not working. I added 2 beds per building (so now there are 16 beds, 4 in each building), with 2 (unemployed) villagers per building. When I give them carrots, they start mating with lot of hearts, but at the end there is no baby villager and still only 2 villagers per building. They don't seem to get angry at the end, there is just no baby.

I don't know if it is related, but there is also another strange behavior since last upgrade: by night, villagers are going to bed, but from time to time they waking up (not all in the same time, but they are all impacted). They walk a bit then go back to bed (not always in the same bed, as there is more beds than villagers).
