Can confirm this happens with all netherite items, on Realms / Bedrock Dedicated Server.
Does not happen in single player worlds.
It looks like all LAG issues have been combined into here, however, having searched for issues, checked BETA release notes, not all issues have been resolved (it seems that SO many things caused lag, that not all are tracked separately, and therefore might not be included in the next release, as it does NOT appear to be fixed in the latest beta.
Villagers are causing a lot of lag in the latest actual and beta releases.
Steps to re-create
Start new world
Launch a rocket (for comparison)
Place 40 beds
Place 40 workstations
Spawn 40 villagers
Launch a rocket (Laggy)
This is making the game unplayable, while I appreciate the comment of "Be patient" this should be addressed by a critical hotfix, as it has made the game unplayable for many people, and IS NOT resolved in the current beta.
