Yes, this issue is still a problem in 1.17. Blocks made of stone should be tagged with the stone tag so custom tools can simply query the tag stone to decide whether to apply the speed multiplier. Here is a list of the current block tags, many blocks are missing like stone buttons.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a custom wood block using an ADDON and in the 'minecraft:components' add "tag:wood": {}
2. In the 'minecraft:components' make the 'minecraft:destroy_time' equal to 2 (the same as a vanilla log)
3. Create a new world and /give yourself the block
4. Place it next to a vanilla log
3. Use a Diamond Axe to break both of them

Observed Results:
The Diamond Axe breaks the vanilla block at the expected speed but the custom wood block breaks at the same speed as if you were punching it with your fist.

Expected Results:
The Diamond Axe item should break all blocks tagged with the 'wood' tag at the same speed because inside its destroy_speeds it says that all blocks tagged with 'plant', 'wood', or 'pumpkin' would take the same amount of time.

What about the duplication of the held item on death? Why does it happen and is there a workaround? It really bothers me in the modpack I am making.

The expected results: The gossip mechanism brings down surrounding villager trades farther than -1 (perhaps to -6)

I have spent countless hours building a trading hall just before the update. The 'fix' in 1.16.100 ruined all the clerics that I had put in it because am I seriously going to cure to be able to trade 31 rotten flesh instead of 32?
