This has also happened to me. All you have to do to fix it is go into creative mode for a few minutes on your world and should fix it. This worked for me in the latest version.

Why does it get tagged as resolved, if NONE of the reports that it's duplicating, have EVER been properly resolved? It's so frustrating! Looking through the history, this problem looks like it's been going on a long time, and no answers!!
Exactly the same issue on Windows 10. Failed... Try again later. We have had similar problem for weeks but usually get in after lots of tries. Today we've been trying all day.

The same thing happens to me. When I mine, my shield takes most of my screen.
