Realized previous pictures showed beautiful skies so sharing this one to show still happens when bobbing, fancy graphics, beautiful skies, and animated water are off. Gotta do lil more trial and error but suspecting niece was on to something when she said to put render distance at highest instead of lowest.

It may not be the latest and fastest device on the market and I just bought it last year so is new to me. Don't think it is too much to expect the game to still work as intended since the appstore says is compatible for the ipod touch. Surely there has to be some other settings can do to enable the game to function as intended. Otherwise is not just myself but many other gamers who get excluded from enjoying their game just cuz we can't afford to always buy the latest devices right when they become available to the market.

So cruel to put it that way and shatter all hopes that the game would ever work properly as intended again. Granted the game experience would be better if have a top of the line device with fastest processor on market. From what google says the op's mentioned galaxy tab 4 nook was just released last year so it is not like is expecting to use a decade old device.

Don't remember having these problems in the past back when minecraft pe with lan multiplayer first came out and we were using ipod 4gs. Granted there were also much less features available in the game back then too. Surely there has to be a way to improve game function since even the applestore said the game should be compatible with ipod touch 5g. Already turned off a lot of the graphics options in hope that would help. Still debating regarding render distance if game would function best with it shortest or longest (I believe shortest would help but niece insists longest would) Perhaps there still is a way for the developers to still keep devices with less than the latest processors in mind and not exclude many gamers.

Had similar happen a lot for me on ipod 5g 0.11.1 version. Is frustrating since main time I play game is when am attempting to play multiplayer with my nieces and sisters but these glitches make it extremely frustrating to almost impossible to enjoy game especially if they turned monsters on which kills me more often than not making me look incompetent as a player. This particular one sometimes appears for few seconds before world finally generates or lasts longer. Idk if can say forever since after a minute or two of waiting I force the app close and try again.

If understood you correctly I had this happen frequently too. Randomly while playing in multiplayer will have someone tell me they are near me but I can't see them. As proof they throw or do another action which I can see. I have to exit and rejoin world to see the person again... More killjoys when attempting to enjoy multiplayer (I also play on updated ipod touch 5g in version 0.11.1 but think overheard at least one other niece fuss about same issue on a different device)

Another example.... They don't always understand why I can't go where they are and instead pace at the border of how far I rendered. I tried putting my render distance short and long since they said maybe that is to blame but I doubt it

Agree is so frustrating. I almost can't play with my nieces and sister because the world randomly stops generating. Only by exiting and rejoining is it "fixed" for a while. Good to know is not my ipod 5g to blame but hope fix comes asap cuz takes away critical part of game when comes to being able to play in same world via lan. I am visitor in the world with all of us playing version 0.11.1 from different devices

Think I experienced this also. Was walking next to a building in a village when my character got hurt. When asked who hit me no one was near me. Game was survival and peaceful so no hostile mobs either. Just walking straight so not ladder/vine damage either

I would so love an ocelot. We are on .11.1 and not .12.1 unless perhaps you are beta testing before update is released which ;w; kittehs. How many tamed to verify is truely isentical cats and not just part of the random generator

There are similarities, but not sure if this is a true duplicate since even though both reenter world at a different height than when saved, the other instances seem to have you safely on the surface. This instance has you falling from sky to death. I had it happen before when was inside a mountain tunnel and reopened game on the mountain surface instead without a scratch.

I just entered a world I hadn't accessed for a month and was confused to see a black screen(was night). Little did I know I was plummeting from the sky to my death. Place where game loaded was also at the edge of map, but spawn point was somewhere else. No beds were involved in my instance, but based on where fell I was within 3 blocks of a house located at ground level at the edge of world (not inside or underground). But then guess is similar in the sense rejoining the game at a different height than you were when last save/quit...

Yea I noticed you can leave the bed in the moments before you fall asleep by tapping on the foot of the bed. That would explain why clicking on the head of the bed is the only way to actually sleep in it at night. This works in multiplayer too. The time span of sleeping is only seconds to daytime so can't think of reason why want to get out of bed when sleeping, but can understand before sleeping if was mistake.

I took the initiative to destroy the torches in these cases so don't think it is directly related to that report. It does seem more that it's not completely registering/updating that I took away the torch so that makes sense. Sometimes programs can be quirky in what triggers a bug so guess can't rule out if the two issues are related somehow. I made it a habit to remove any torches before breaking blocks since I noticed that bug also.

OOC: Going to be busy these next days so I may not reply again until Oct 2.

Yea, idk what to make of the first one either. I hadn't seen it replicated yet but thought it a curiosity. Usually see a gradual shading and not abrupt.

The second is sand, grass, and water. Showing what I wonder may be a replication of the light glitch the original poster added, but can't verify. I noticed it while walking and when placed/removed a torch at the spot it returned to normal.

Am not sure what to make of the last picture though unless OP is able to go into more detail how found that spot and what blocks are affected.

I posted a new grouping showing the same thing as the other trio. In my case it does seem to be the system somehow holding memory of where torches were. Placed torches to give dirt extra light to grow and then took torch away when grass was made. While playing it looked normal, but when reloaded next day noticed it in some places again. It has been appearing randomly where I had a torch in the past. Not all torch locations have this occur though. This and another one forgot to picture were from torches I removed during the daytime. I Wonder if try again but remove torches only at night will not occur. Doesn't bother me or affect game play; just find it curious.

Still am not sure of all the logistics of how this is triggered esp in the original poster's case, but in my case it seems to be tied in with torch use. (idk about that dark space version) I have seen the light a few times in places where I had a torch to help grass grow and took the torch away. It seems the space has the memory of where the light was. It reverts to normal appearance when I place a new torch and take it away.

I noticed this too on ipod 4g where like you said after playing together in multi-player only the host's chests will contain items regardless of who put them in the chest. If player B saves the world to their own device and quits then the chests are empty and all they have was what was in their inventory when it was saved. I saw that comment also about since the servers can't remember specific players they will always join the host server empty-handed until resolved.

I also noticed and am frustrated with this tendency. I thought animals like and spawn on grass only to see them constantly swimming. It makes it difficult like mentioned to sheer sheep since have to dive for wool after locking the sheers on em long enough. Then is a big task to coax the sheep on land long enough to eat grass before returning to the water. Think this would make it hard for chickens to lay eggs too if that is possible. (I'm on ios ipod G4)

I would hope going into your inventory would somewhat pause your character's actions to avoid drowning and otherwise dying until return from inventory...

Yes I did notice people get disconnected when devices fall asleep. I've worked around until is confirmed or resolved by adjusting the general settings in ios to never autolock. Not sure other devices have that option though.

'0' didn't know zombies are supposed to survive in water... good to know since was one thing was considering adding as a bug.

Hmmmmm wonder if this is possible. How did you notice this in your game? In mine I dug into a mountain once to gather stone and then to prevent mobs from spawning till my return I did a checker board pattern with my limited dirt blocks. When I returned later I heard spider noises without seeing spiders outside so I ran away without breaking the blocks XD
