This happens with me a lot. When in caves, I try to put water near lava to make some cobblestone/safe way to walk on. Instead, they don't interact in any way. Water just stands on smaller lava falls as it they're a separate block and do not interact as they should whatsoever. Next time I reproduce this bug I will make sure I take screenshots to share.
This is still happening in my worlds in the latest version of Minecraft Windows 10. (v1.11.4). Please re-open this issue.
I'm still unfamiliar with the use of Jira. The link you provided was marked as resolved a few years ago. How can I mention that the bug still exists?
The bug has happened again today. I've inserted a capture in my comment. We can see the trader villager with the llamas spawned in the water and appearing normally, but the chunk is just invisible.
[media]This has happened in 1.11.4 on Windows 10 as well.
I also am having this issue. Each time I exit the game and open it again in order to get around the infinite "Building Terrain" screen. After opening it again I'd find myself back in the overworld, but spawned next to the Nether portal actually, not where I would have spawned if I used it. This issue has been happening every time I exit the Nether for the SECOND time. Every first time works fine but it could have been a coincidence that it is happening the second time I try to get back to the overworld.
I am having the same issue. But this is happening in my own Survival world, NOT in realms. Whenever I try to leave the nether and go back to the overworld, I get stuck on "Building Terrain", where the only thing I can do is exit the window and open the Minecraft game again. When I re-join my world again, I could find myself in the overworld where I am supposed to be, or in the Nether but going back to the overworld would work this time. Trying it again on the same session would reproduce the same issue.
Hope I was clear.
Update: going back to the coordinates where I lost my tamed pets, they suddenly spawned and started following me again. I was on a boat in an ocean.
Suddenly after a few minutes travelling they disappeared again.
This kinda confirms how they disappear from unloading chunks or whatever it has to do with chunks as they reappeared again when I got back.
This issue is a duplicate of the following issue: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-45207
My bad, I'm new here and thought that the linked issue was posted for another platform than Win10 thus made a seperate issue post. Sorry.
As I wrote, it relates to https://mojang.atlassian.net/browse/MC-40529, but after now 2 snapshots, it's a different wrong message. So actually a new error on it's own.
I guess it is because of the packets being send from the server to the clients. As the maximum string length for cmdblocks has been increased, they probably forgot to adjust the packets to be able to accept the bigger data.
Today it happened to be randomly disappearing and reappearing again... Maybe something about AA Or MipMapping? I'll try that.
Cant reproduce as of 13w38c. So it's gotta be something about the drivers/ OpenGL implementation.
Still an issue as of 13w08c . If there are tags being added "invisibly", I'd call it a bug, because it's being made pretty much impossible to use this feature.
Also on the c version? try going into 13w38b and in the video settings enable "Postprocessing". Then try again and click on the "Super Secret Settings" button. That should change the shaders.
This is a feature not a bug.
Though on Creepers it works. Only a TNT bug.
Yeah, it's still not working for me. I still HAVE to use CTRL instead of CMD, and it's is very annoying. Edit: I am on 1.6.2
You accidently hit "1" and so i "zoomed" into the big green ring and shows, which subtypes of usage are in there. As it is only selfcontaining, you see a big green circle. Just press "0" to get back.
@GoldenHelmet The file attached does not seem to show the continuity of the problem. Although they are not following you, have you tried getting out of the boat to see hat happens?
Last time I played MCBedrock and reported this, tamed animals wouldn't even follow / teleport to you even after you get out of the boat and get on land .. Unless you go back to where they were left and let them follow you again.
