it depends on what gamemode you are on if in creative give it time caves and other things need time to load but if in survival your (Android system) may not be the best thing to play minecraft on
(to avoid lag try turning the render distance down a bit)

That could be the problem one you leave the world it loads saving all the achivements
it depends on the strength of the internet or even the server ping (wifi counts)
i had a Amazon Fire too and i had this same problem but even if you get it to work
it may crash and have a laggy performance i say this by experience
i reset the whole tablet for it to finally download losing many files 😞
