My brother and I are having the same problem with our maps. Also, treasure maps are not working either. 

Also, running on iPad Air 2. iOS is up to date. I logged out from Xbox, deleted the file as suggested, and it was re-created, however, once I signed back in with the Xbox account (despite fixing all permissions as suggested), it crashes. 

Just posted a debug log file. Check out the very bottom of that file. After that, everything shuts down.
