I have been in contact with support about this since Dec 2025. 2 months ago they said they were going to close my ticket bc they fixed it and that the fix will be in future updates but it’s been 2 months and nothing has changed. They’ve released updates and the fix hasn’t been on any of them. I literally haven’t been able to play since last year as I’m sure many others haven’t been able to as well. More and more posts keep popping up on reddit and on here about it and still no fix

Elizabeth, did this ever work for you? I have tried as well and have gotten the exact same results as you, I open it but when I click it and try to run it nothing happens and it immediately closes. I have gone through literally everything recommended to do online and nothing has fixed it. It’s so frustrating, it’s been so long and no one has fixed this. You’d think they would have done something by now since it all started when they changed it to “Minecraft for Windows”
