Not fully fixed: piglins still attack wither skeleton teammates. See https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-225908 for details as it is a separate report.

This is not about picking items off the ground, but about admiring gold items. Piglins with admiring_disabled will not accept right click bartering and will not pursue gold from the ground. However it seems despite this if they come across a gold item on the ground by chance they pick it up, admire it, and barter with it, which goes against the name of the "admiring_disabled" tag.
This strongly suggests that this is a bug or oversight with their AI. Also, CanPickUpLoot would still allow them to equip non gold armours.
No, because other mobs like piglin brutes will only pick up axes, so they do not downgrade their weapons for no reason.
There are no villagers hidden (No entity was found) and I tested the bug on multiple maps and villages
Can no longer reproduce by proximity, but can by riding. Can anyone else test this?
1.16.1. Bug is triggered by proximity, not riding.
If the golem fails to kill the target the AI gets broken too.

Cannot reproduce. Tested the following interactions:
player attacked enderman in same team
player looked at enderman in same team
player spawned endermite added to the same team as the enderman team
1.16 mobs have their own ticket.
I would say this specific ticket is fixed?
Looks like it is because they will keep targeting the player after switching from Survival to Creative to Survival until the AngerTime tag hits 0
