Which skin are you using, somtimes if you are using a skin the server will reject the skin and give you the default skin.
Can you please add a screenshot so we can see what is happening?

Although I am deeply sorry for your loss, Mojang can not replace your enderdragon egg.
Which router do you use currently? This may be that your internet router has a firewall. I know that mine does.
Which server is this? If it is a server that you added and is not listed as a featured server, Mojang can not help you with that.
This sounds like a feature request and not a actual bug.
