For the record, this issue is duplicated in MCPE-45111
The 1.11.1 update had no effect on my iPad Pro. Still freezes.
Update: I also updated my iPhone 7 with 1.11.1 and now it's broken. It is freezing just like my iPad Pro.
I'm having the same issue with stuck on load
I'm using an iPad Pro. It seems to be attempting to log in to some server and failing or not timing out. If I delete app, reinstall app, and before launching put system into Airport Mode (no outside connections), I can get the app to load. However after either shutting down, or pausing, it reverts back to attempting to locate some server (or whatever) and you have to do it all over.
For the record, this issue is duplicated in MCPE-45185
