I resolved this by removing all resource packs except the Minecraft texture pack.

This is a bigger issue for me as when I press escape to save the game it goes into the forever loading bar. I have to hope the game has saved everything. This and the game crashing is making the game un-playable. I have minecraft installed on 3 Windows 10 computers, all have Windows 10 Pro and 2 have version 1909 and 1 has version 2004.
