There is a “interesting” fix in the Discord Server Sakura [Official Sumo Community] but the fix doesn’t seem like it’s only fixing the issue of mouse acceleration it seems like it’s changing the whole mouse movement to feel like some older versions and it seems like it makes the mouse movement slower. ( 1.21.114 or whatever that had the original non GDK mouse non stuttering. Then after GDK there was stuttering. Then after that In 26.3 it seems like there was a patch or something where the stuttering went away and the mouse movement was actually really good, and I liked it. But if you use the method used in the discord server to fix the mouse acceleration it feels like the old (possibly UWP) movement but I could be wrong, I don’t think the movement feels great, it kind of feels slower but they could be because of a lot of factors given this game is pretty broken in a million different ways.
Sensitivity feels higher. Definitely some weird mouse acceleration. Please fix this it really affects gameplay and makes it unplayable for me atleast
here we go again
Not resolved btw
I have a feeling it going to take 5 months for a fix then 4 days later they release a new update that has another problem. oh, and that new update that has the new problem had the glitch in pre release- wait that sounds awfully familiar 😁👍
Can confirm
Bruh. It was perfect before this update. The mouse smoothness was perfect. Now it’s glitchy with have my skin missing and texture glitches and the sensitivity is super fast even though I still have it on the same sense as before.
Let’s hope when the next update comes out it’s gone for everyone and hopefully everyone experiences the same smooth mouse movement like we used to.
either way at least i can play now
Yeah, I use Ryzen and haven’t changed anything like that. But the gameplay seems different/better. It was probably a coincidence.
For me, the ‘liquid’ or smeared, unsmooth mouse movement feels constant (the environment doesn’t seem to affect it), but it becomes more noticeable depending on how I move the mouse, especially during combat.
Even at high FPS, motion in Minecraft Bedrock feels “liquid” or smeared, like frames slide between positions.
Likely due to inconsistent frame timing / display pipeline issues. FPS is high, but frames arrive to the monitor unevenly, causing persistent microstutter.
This only started after the GDK input and OBS don’t show it because recording smooths the frame timing.
for me it’s not about unloaded chunks at all
In response to Mega Spud (Jay)
I am using 240Hz
And I am easily capable of being above 240 fps
My refresh rate is maximum
My framerate is set to Unlimited
It does not depend on VSync being disabled or enabled.
The behavior is persistent in both fullscreen mode and windowed mode.
I tested multiple different mice that are wired like razor and glorious mouse and tried on different polling rates. putting the polling rate to 125 hertz instead of 250 hertz makes it a little harder to notice the laggy/unsmooth frame issue but its still there. It might just mask it.
I'd like to ask if anyone that has the issues where you have good frames and high hertz and still have consistent unsmooth frames has virtual machines on their pc?
you're*
Agreed. Can we have some more information? This support team isn’t even saying anything. Just tell us if your trying to fix it or not. Do you guys need more proof? What is it?
I can’t believe it either. It’s insane how a game breaking bug that makes your game feel like liquid lag and unsmooth mouse movement is still a problem.
This is actually true. It’s almost unplayable now. Before the GDK update, it used to run very smoothly, but now it’s stuttery and horrible for PvP.
He probably means 1.21.114. There have been a lot of unsmooth camera movements after that version. That was the last good version for smooth camera movement when using a mouse. Now it’s laggy and “liquid,” even with a high polling rate, high refresh rate, and stable high FPS, and I haven’t been able to play properly for 4 months.
Or of course you can downgrade but that doesn’t last forever
