This also seems to affect Bedrock 1.18.3 on servers. The sign appears to have text to the author, but then the text disappears. The server sees no text on the sign.
As far as I know, this issue doesn't affect Bedrock 1.18.2 (on servers at least).

This occurs on Minecraft for Windows when you tab-out onto a window on the same monitor. However, it sometimes disconnects while interacting with the taskbar and other file-explorer features.

Mine just fully exits the launcher with no other signs of failure - Even when "keep launcher open" is enabled.

I was using JDK11 for a few minor performance improvements, but currently using the bundled runtime.

Shouldn't this be a feature request - not a bug?
It's not like they tried to change it, and if it honestly bugs you enough to report it, you can easily change it yourself.

Right-click the shortcut and click properties. Then, click "change icon". You may need to convert the texture to a .ico format

This report seems a bit like a clout-chase.
