This problem occurs with other games, so I suspect that it's a problem with Xbox consoles.
Mack, before you go down the legal route read Microsoft Terms & Conditions. Also I think the problem is Xbox because I've had the same issues with other games.
Isn't it about time this issue is resolved? So many people can't access their worlds.
This is as a result of developers, in their rush for release, not fully testing a so called "update" before release. It must be a minecraft issue, if they had fully tested before release and discovered the huge problem they would then have resolved the issue with Xbox. Funnily enough, part of the same organisation.
This is N O T resolved. What a waste of money Xbox Series X. Supposedly an SSD card sized at 1 GB. Huh!
So much for this so called update. Clearly not enough testing was carried out before release. I have the same problem. I always make a backup, even during a game but this hasn't helped. I can't see the original world ( over 1Gb ) in the list and the copy shows a date some two weeks ago. That aside the copy will not sync so I can' t even use that. I did not see any notification regarding the so called update so thinking that the cloud could not sync with my console I deleted the console world files. I also uninstalled Minecraft and reinstalled it (the latest update would not complete and was left hanging) but the cloud apparently can' t sync with either an existing file or no file! This applies to all worlds I have, even those copied from over from older Xboxes so I've lost Many years of work. I have since managed to reinstall Minecraft with the latest (I believe) update bu still can't sync the files.
This problem exists on Xbox X and Xbox Series X.
How silly. Resolved. I've been trying to turn off auto jump using the keyboard & mouse interface instead of the controller. What an idiot !
I have the same issue but with a World created on Xbox One.
File size 9.1MB
Small size World ( named: "A Black World")
World syncs but aborts when converting @ 44%, pauses and throws me back to the Xbox One 'Home' window
What's so annoying about this problem, Microsoft owns both Xbox and Minecraft yet they've done nothing to resolve the problem. At the heading of this posting they list other posts that they say are duplicates and mark them as resolved yet the problem has persisted for months and remains UNRESOLVED. So many of us are unable to continue playing Minecraft - it really sucks !!
