well, downloaded the old launcher and it works perfectly
It appears to be an issue with the win10/11 launcher.
Not thorough testing to be sure, but seems like it could be a problem with the on player walk command.

To try and be a bit more helpful we ran through the first 2 tutorials, chickens and jump, with no issues. But flowers made it crash every time. Will try some more and see how it goes.
