Having same issue.  

Updated Game, Signed in via remote connect link.  Played Fine, Checked World Save Sync. didn't work.

Updated Ps4 version, played saves (to make sure they got update incase this was sync issue with Ps5)

Restarted Ps5 version,  Can not click Setting, it just says "Sign in to Playstation Network"

Clicking it tries to sign into MS (even thou it says PSN)  PSN is 100% signed in.

Clicking "Play Preview" ask to sign into MS, then PSN and ask to play offline.

6.3Mb game took a good min to load.

Restarted ps5, same results.

Turned it off and back on.  Same results. 

Ask to sign in PSN, Tris to sign in PSN does nothing.

As of July 10th (Update was 9th)  

PS4 version still Hard Freezes,  requires a hard ps5 reset (no error given)

Ps5 Beta Does Not, but also doesn't allow old worlds, so hard to Fully Test.

Don't see point...  Hard Freezes don't produce a crash report.

Its random, (as mention in other thread) Living my home, visiting a village, opening a barrel, grabbing items.  40-60min mark.

Its installed on Internal, Since pretty sure Ps5 still doesn't allow play from External. (like ps4 did)

Uninstalled and reinstalled game twice now.  Its  on latest version, since we have no way to load older version.

I've tried new saves, (100% wiped my old ones)   Ps3 edition ported to new, old ps4 saves) Hard Freezes regardless of save state.

Tried ps5 offline, still does it.

Turned all Pack off (only own true realism and 1 free one that doesn't work)

No other Game has this issue on my Ps5.

Everything was pretty decent after 1st Trails Update drop.  After each patch, game just got worse.

"Please do not unplug your PS5 while it is in the crashed state this could do further damage, simply hold the power button on front of the PS5 for approximately 30 seconds."

This didn't work for me.    Had to unplug it.

Hard Crashes don't give reports, they just Freeze Ps5.   And unplugging and plugging it back in just does drive repair and warns you about unplugging it.

I let my ps5 sit for a few mins to see if it would catch up, it wont.

Had several of Hard Freezes so far.    Nothing I can give to list the issue, other then it just happens. 

Updated from early trails update (havn't played in a few months)

All this happen last night.

1st crash (gave report)  Wandering merchant was there, had blank lists.  Clicking them crashed game to Home Page.

shouldn't have did that...

2nd, I opened barrel, grabbed 12 sticks and froze game. (had to unplug ps5)

(Turned off Texture Pack)

3rd time, Exit my Home, started swim across water.  Froze.  (had to unplug ps5)

4th time, Got home after village visit, half way thru a halls, Froze again. (had to unplug ps5) 

Un-Installed game and reinstalled, Kept to Base version of the game.

5th time. Started new character. (as my others come from ps3 edition/ps4 to ps5)

Played for about 45mins, came back, opened crafting table, hard freeze.

I could barely play 40 to 60mins with out a freeze and gave up.   Ps5 is only about year old, with maybe 300 hours on it, (cyberpunk, Des, Hogwarts, minecraft in it.   Zero issues till this minecraft update.
