Thanks for the setting Robert. I changed mine but I'm still stuck on the red screen. My son hasn't played Minecraft on the computer for almost 2 weeks now and I haven't progressed any further. Any other suggestions?
So I had a go at going through the AMD settings as above with no luck at all, still the pink/red screen.
However, I found out something strange today. The very first issue we had about 3 weeks ago now was that when we started Minecraft, the image on the screen was just the 'Nether' as my son tells me. It's just a panning landscape of the Nether and the menu screen never loaded. Once I did some fiddling around, we got past that and now it's stuck on the red/pink screen.
Interestingly though, we were on his Nintendo Switch just now. I signed into my Microsoft Account and guess what, the same panning 'Nether' image showed up and I thought I stuffed his Switch up too. It's quite a coincidence that after I put my Microsoft Account details in, the Switch also decided to freeze up. So, I got him to remove the game card out of the device, and all is well.
Just still no luck with the Windows 10 version.
