No apparent problems on M2 or M4 iPad Pro.
I don’t know if this makes a difference, but although I have the error messages in my server log, it does not crash my clients of any flavour. Why? Maybe because I’m running the Ubuntu version of BDS, not Windows.

Not resolved. This still occurs on 1.20.13 on iPadOS. Please reopen and investigate.
I can report that this happens on iOS 1.16.210
it seems to happen when a 1x1 picture is placed on a north-facing wall but not on an east-facing wall and not a 2x1 landscape picture.
