MC-194085 Villagers pick back up what they throw Duplicate MCPE-85133 Spawner experience mine (bedrock, realm world) is now useless after nether update Duplicate

I don't know offhand what kind of mouse I have (it's crappy, I do know), but I've got the same issue. Rather than scrolling one spot it zips along like I'm on the Wheel of Fortune. Bedrock 1.18.somethingorother. Did not happen before the big 1.18 update.

1.16.0 bedrock realm.

Zombie spawner behavior appears to have changed radically. I've got two zombie spawners, one partially outdoors (dungeon was intersected by a river along one edge), and one in my mines. The outdoor spawner runs at the same rate as spawners did before, but after a small group of zombies were created it stopped working.

The mine spawner has changed even more drastically, only spawning a single zombie and at a much slower rate than the partially outdoor spawner. A nearby skeleton spawner still behaves as it did previously.

Neither zombie spawners produced a zombie villager,  but I haven't spent the time needed to fully test whether or not that has changed as well.

I had been waiting for the nether update to venture into the nether in order to start getting resources I needed to begin the process of healing zombie villagers. Now that I've got the update my zombie spawners are crippled, thus thwarting me still.

Super stoked about this, guys. Any plans on fixing this?

Having reviewed the release notes it appears that despawning mechanics have been changed. I'm guessing this won't go anywhere because it's not a bug but a really awful new feature. Awful for me, at least. Let me register my dissatisfaction and request this be rethought.
