Seems to be fixed as of 19w13b
Just noticed this in 19w11b as well, but I was trying to get them to breed to fill out a town I've been expanding.
Just adding my voice to the mix, yeah I get a crash trying to access my barrel I have for storage in a house I built
Same as the person above Enabling it to use 1 gig still lead to a crash at/after the Mojang screen. And I was unable to go up to 2 GB

Edit: I did a little testing, I incorrectly stated that death in the overworld still worked as intended, this is incorrect. when i died in the overworld just now it kicked me back to worldspawn I then removed the carpet at the floor realizing that was main change since I had last had the working bed respawn. Removing the carpets allowed to bed to work properly.
