Sorry, not feeling like I know what I’m doing, today.
I’m on Windows 8. It’s all new and nothing is familiar. I searched all the folders in c:\users and found no AppData/Roaming\.minecraft\crash-reports. I will have to look again.
I couldn’t find the crash report where they specified. Dou know where to look?

Thank you for taking the time to help me; I’m grateful. I’m very new to the game and just graduated from PE to PC.
So condemn me for a noob but I don’t understand either of those phrases, yet. Anyway, I went back to the game during lunch and everything was back, that was missing last night. It must have been the update. At my stage, it just seemed catastrophic to lose all of my stockpile.
Still I hope I didn’t waste too much of your time. I have a million questions, but I’ll do my best figure it all out. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to point me in the right direction.
