I have the same problem on iOS (iOS 11, Minecraft 1.2.2). These are maps that I created before the update which had locators and now they don't. I also crafted a new locator map in the same location, but it doesn't show a locator.

Im seeing this in 1.0.7. Or something similar. I just loaded a save and every item in my hot bar was the same item.
