I am not an admin in this realm so I can't do that. Plus mobs are dropping loot, just not the full loot they should.
My issue was linked to another But report But is NOT THE SAME ISSUE. First I am playing on an unmodded reality achievements still available. Second mobs are dropping, but not all the drops they should drop. Sheep are dropping mutton, but not wool. Every single time. Cows are dropping meat but no leather. I know they don't always drop leather but if I kill 100 cows and get 0 leather that is broken.
I'm using an unenchanted iron sword. But regardless of how killed, sheep should drop exactly one wool. Not 0. And my experience in the past is I get an average of one leather per cow. Sometimes 2, sometime 0, but not 0 with 100 cows.
This issue is NOT THE SAME BUG. please reopen.

What I have tried: I made a 10x10x10 room with the roof at y=60. Walls ceiling and floor are all natural stone. I then completely filled the chamber with water from the bottom up, swam out my exit and closed the entrance at the top with dirt to create a lightless environment. Glow squid spawn in groups of 2-4, but never a single axolotl.
I also found a lush cave down around level -35. I built a pond at least 7 wide and 7 deep using natural contours and only the light naturally available in the cave. As nothing but stone forms down there the walls and floor are all stone. Again, glow squid spawn readily, axolotl do not. Axolotl also do not spawn in the cave's many shallower pools. The cave is immense and stunningly gorgeous, btw. I've spent many hours there exploring. It should be noted this pool does have light from vines and lichen, but no torches within 20+ blocks.
In have found MANY flooded caverns and explored them in peaceful mode to reduce dying. All are well below y=63 and most of the floor is a form of natural stone. I get quite far from the entrance. Again, I see tons of glow squid and 0 axolotl.
I am not on the beta any more but still have access to experimental features in the current android release. I have put hours of work into this over multiply worlds.
You linked my issue to this closed one. Please help me reopen it.
Yes, we do. My son is terrified of creepers. That would explain this, thanks.
I don't know what I clicked to file this bug that way... I don't have a dedicated bedrock server
I'm using Android 7.0. No server, just my phone.
Am also seeing this. It's hugely problematic. Caves with surface access are vital to early game experience, for ease of gathering resources. The new cave generation makes building a mine that much harder as the new larger caves are harder to patch up to get deep enough to mi e strategically, so surface caves are even MORE important.
I didn't wait long, I did what "usually works" to get an achievement to log: I shut down and reloaded minecraft. In every other case this gets the system to recheck whatever stores achievement data. Well, it did "update" as you can see from the screenshot I took. It DID list the 1000th emerald in the task progress bar but it still listed the task as incomplete with 1000/1000 emeralds. I restarted minecraft again, still incomplete at 1000/1000. So I logged on here, filed the bug report, then decided what the heck and sold 1 more stack of books to my librarian. The achievement instantly completed and I came back here to comment. A mod then helpfully edited my description to include the comment in the main body.
Sadly that would ruin the entire point as I'm trying to get achievements. But nice to know others have observed. If it's an intentional change it's not welcome!
I went and made one more sale, and that 1001st emerald unlocked the achievement
I have this issue too starting yesterday. Why is this marked as resolved 5 days ago? Its obviously NOT RESOLVED
Yes we are both on the same version playing over LAN. Pocket won't connect our games if we're on different versions.
I catch puffer and tropical fish in all other biomes in bedrock... But they're only NOT in the loot tables in jungle and on bedrock? That seems wrong somehow?
having this issue on 1.18.30 as well. I'm automating for the first time. Usually I place my nests/hives directly over the campfire and use blocks to prevent bees or players touching the fire. Now I've set them up over water with observers and dispensers with shears. There is a trap door over the fire so water can flow over it to the hoppers. Smoke appears beneath the nests but bees attack if sheared manually. And since the nests often get found dripping.... I have to shear manually at least once.
