If you still can't change skins after 1.18.30 all you need to do is delete the software and reinstall it then after it's done downloading again sign out of your Microsoft account and sign back in and it should work.

Idk why this is a bug in the first place and the fact it's been 2 months worries me that it will never be fixed.

Hopefully a update is on the way usually it takes two months for new bedrock updates and I think they is a way for windows by using a file similar to what you sent.

This bug isn't just windows 10 either its also Nintendo Switch there is a skin pack called the Mario Mashup Skin Pack and I feel like the mashup is technically a custom skin pack as it's not available in the marketplace. So hopeful when they fixed this issue it will help out the switch players as well.

Sometimes it just says loading in a endless loop other times it just the name of the skin but no equip button

Yeah same for me and my shield is just broken I can't block Attacks and the shield is in my head please fix this.
