If we play on XBox One and don't have realms what do we do? I really want all my gear and inventory back. So disappointing.

Same issue here. Logged in to play on split screen and all of my inventory is completely gone. I was spawned in the original spawn point with nothing on me. All my gear, tools, progress gone! So disappointing, makes me not want to play anymore.
