Sorry! I didn't see that one...
I think I'm going to work on a mod, that saves the achievements in a different folder outside of minecraft.jar, so when updated, it will still keep the achievements. The only concern is that you will need to download the mod every time you update. I infer that this will be finished by the end of this month, or December, depending on the school work I have to do.
Also, it would be easier for the Mojang team to do this, rather than a modder like me, because I would have to read all the coding in the minecraft.jar, while the mojang team knows what is what. Also, if the mojang team does this, the achievements can be saved server sided, like skins.
Since mine carts can push other mine carts, it would cause an infinite momentum if they are inside each other. One will push the other, and the one pushed will push the other, etc. This can possibly be fixed if they decrease the hit box of their mine carts.
It doesn't happen to me on single player, but t does happen on servers, which makes sense if the server is lagging. I have to ask you a question (There are 2 possible solutions). Which are you using? Multi or single?
Logically, there can be more than 1 villager in a house, like how there are families in a real life house. I think an alternative way is to limit the max number of villager in a house, so that they dont over flow. This will possibly disable the infinite breeding, which I think is considered cheating.
Does the music file have to be in a specific file? (Like mp3) Or can it be others, if you change the coding for which file to execute?
For example, instead of (if the execute command is 'run')
run music.mp3
You can have
run music.wav
(Yes, I'm a windows user.)
I have tested this in 1.4 now, it appears that some pulses of redstone differ for different directions (Using a t-flip flop with the new redstone repeater locks.) There are 2 pulses, 1 main pulse, and 1 short pulse which comes right after the main pulse (The bug). But this did not happen when I faced east.
Thank you for notifying me. I didn't know they made this tweak to adventure mode.
This happens with he bed as well, but can possibly be fixed if they manually program it to not drop the block. In my prediction, the blocks are all set to a setting, to drop a block. But, the developers programmed most blocks to not drop anything, but didn't program this on some blocks. And possibly, the door was one of them. The issue with the pistons can probably be fixed too, if done correctly.
Indeed, a possible solution, is to have a separate folder/file for the achievements, instead of being inside the minecraft.jar file, or the files can be server sided, like skins. But, the server sided solution has a problem; The server might not work all the time, like how the skin server doesn't work all the time.
Possibly an entity issue, like sand. You can walk though a falling sand entity without getting hurt.
This is a feature implimented in 1.4, and is not a bug.
Avik,
I typed this in a Command Block.
