Yes, this is the problem! When you push the button down surround will be activated. Then when you play Minecraft and listen to music the sound is unnormal crappy!
When I push the button up the music will be played normaly but your minecraft sound is only on the right ear.
When you install the old drivers the sound will be normal in surround and normal mode (button up/down)
I found a resolution! 🙂Install the Logitech G35/930 drivers from the Original Software CD.
You can still use surroundsound while listen to music or skype with friends and playing Minecraft >1.6!
I wanted to add that they did not tell anyone on the Java side either!
I have two, double chests, filled of wood blocks. I thought I was going crazy. I have waited two game updates for this bug to be fixed. Upon reading this, it isn't a bug and in fact an ill-informed change.
Please mod. More transparency.
