It appears as if bees are no longer spawning in this version of Minecraft. I'm entering seeds that normally generate them but they are not there.

The chances for nests to spawn was reduced in 1.16 which will change how they generate in seeds.
Have you tried exploring a world or just checked seeds you knew they (used to) existed?
You...lowered them? Why? I’m creating new worlds and checking old worlds from the old version of Minecraft, which is leaps and bounds better than this new bug-ridden version. The game shuts down by itself constantly. Can you update this to put the bee spawn rate back to what it was? I’ve been running around for thousands and thousands of blocks and haven’t seen a single bee.

I wanted to add that they did not tell anyone on the Java side either!
I have two, double chests, filled of wood blocks. I thought I was going crazy. I have waited two game updates for this bug to be fixed. Upon reading this, it isn't a bug and in fact an ill-informed change.
Please mod. More transparency.

Bug tracker staff are volunteers, not Mojang employees. We don’t have inside information on game design decisions.
In order to confirm a bug report, we need to know how to reproduce the issue. The report needs to be specific about steps taken, the expected result, and observed results. For this report it would help to have a seed and range of coordinates in which no bees nests can be found. I am going to have this ticket resolved “awaiting response” until more information is provided.
