Is this being worked on? I know its still an issue in 1.16.3
This has been fixed in 1.7.1
This also seems to effect background music in the game.
In 1.7 Pre-release there is still not visible water surface.

I also have this issue with stacked chests.

This has just happened to myself on my own realm, lost about 30-40mins of progress. Never happened before prior to this that I know about.
