I've had the same issue on a realm. I broke 8 shulkers replaced them within 20 seconds 20 blocks away. There was a resource update for the server, everyone got kicked. I logged back in and they were no longer in the world where I had placed them or in my inventory. They were not in the previous positions either. They just vanished.

Getting same error after trying to upload single player map we've been working on in anticipation of launching realms server with 1.16 content. Really hope this gets fixed, or It will feel the time we spent playing is down the drain.
Confirming that editing the level.dat file to peaceful and reloading the map fixes the crash, until it occurs again for anyone trying to recover their save.
Michael, you do make quite a good list of theories and tests there! I think the more likely option though would be that the ram management has been all messed up due to the fact that the Xbox One was put on the list. Xbox One is a very powerful system, probably more powerful than a phone or tablet. I have a PS4, and the PS4 version of Minecraft, and that’s the flagship of the original console versions mainly due to sheer power of the system. My iPad Air on an A7 chip could run 14 chunks, PS4 can run 18, and newer A10 devices could run 22. I think they need to get a balance set on devices that can use their full potential without underpowering systems because they have simply less power
Ethan, thanks for the input, but this is still a bug for users who’s devices like mine can do more than that. Plus some of us may not have access to a computer. Thank you for the input on the options.txt though!
Come on 1.2.5 and still not fixed!
Come on guys. Still exists in 1.2.3! Fix it already!
Still exists in 1.2.2 on first gen iPad Air running iOS 11. Even trying to reset the settings didn’t work. This bug needs to be fixed!
Thomas, I’m pretty sure that an iPad Pro could run 22 chunks easily due to the power of it, because 14 chunks sounds more like something my iPad Air should be running at normally.
Issue exists in 1.2.1. I’m pretty sure an iPhone 7 Plus runs 22 chunks since I saw that on my cousins’ phones, and that thing has 3 GB of ram! This has to be a bug and needs to be addressed.
iPad Air running iOS 11 also has the 6 chunks issue, when it could run 14 chunks easily before the 1.2 update.
I can confirm this issue is still persisting on my iPad Air 1st Generation MCPE v1.0.1
Affects 1.0.0 on iPad Air on iOS 10.2
Same happening here on iPad Air running iOS 10.2
The issue is also in 0.13.2. Can a mod add 0.13.2 to the versions this issue is occurring in? I am looking forward to 0.14 however because I hear the lag is gone in that update!
Issue exists on 0.13.1. Please fix this NOW!
Same issue! I have this on my city world. Can't imagine deleting it after 1 year of building O.O
This is not a bug. It's a feature Tomasso added in 0.13. It's the PC style text
Likewise here, having disconnection and roll back. Yet we pay for my realm on Mojang.
