What I mean is that the game takes longer to recover from the Fps drops, lag spikes and game freezes. This is especially bad during auto saves and (from what it felt like to me) it seemed worse when I was playing the system handheld vs when I was playing it docked.
As an example, the game ran fine while I was at spawn working on a build (also Pick-Block did not seem to cause any issues with lag) and my wife was approx. 1000 blocks away working on digging a large hole(split screen). However we needed to stop and wait for the game during auto saves and if I was using the crafting grid she would be unable to see any progress on any mined blocks (she would have rows of blocks that were visually there but physically gone)

Fps drops and game freezes definitely seem more prominent in 1.10
I am indirectly having this issue. My wife and I are playing together in an achievement world on the switch and I am hosting the world. No realms because we each have our own switch. She brought bad omen to the town I was preparing for raids and I got the achievement for starting the raid while she didnt even get the raid boss bar. We thought it was because I was loaded in while she was exiting the portal and dismissed it as a fluke. Then we tried the other way. Where she was in the village while I exited the portal with bad omen while she was in the village. Nothing. We both got the raid bar this time though. We tried again where she got bad omen and I stayed in the nether while she triggered the raid. After it had started I left the nether and didnt get the raid bar that she had but she still didnt get the achevement for starting the raid.
