This bug should e reopened. I can reproduce it in 1.21.3: shooting an enderman with a firework just ends up with an enderman being hit with it and taking damage, as shown in the video attached to the ticket

I mean, either reopen this, or update MC-109147 so it doesn't say it's been fixed. Unless this is the intended behaviour, but i guess it'd be written as the solution instead of just "fixed"

Can confirm in 1.21.3, i've tried summoning a snowman in powder snow in the nether and it instantly started taking damage, then died

Yo, mojang, wdym it works as intended? If that's it, this is a serious design problem. Invisibility is already pretty useless in pvp AND in pve. It already is balanced because of the particles which become even more visible if one is affected by more than one status effect. One can't even wear armour. If this works as intended, at this point just remove the ststus effect altogether :|
If this isnt a bug in the program, it is a bug in the design.

Guys, you forgor to close this as a duplicate after commenting about it being a duplicate

But you were able to reproduce it: look under the cross in the middle of the screen: there is the cooldown indicator for the attack while facing the invisible mob

@HubbiGamingTV dude, if it'd be OP, then everything is OP. Like, with this bug one can just sprintjump away of the effect. Right now, slowness effect is completely useless because of this bug.

That's why it is a bug that should be fixed asap. I still dont understand why it hasn't yet been fixed. It's anchient, there is a mob that uses it, there is no incentive in using the slowness effect as a debuff and it even is supposed to be the """downside""""of a powerful potion effect
