Please note that this happens for me with the Switch Pro Controller (1) connected with either USB-cable or Bluetooth. The controller input registers in other apps and in the Minecraft launcher for both methods, but doesn’t register in-game (Minecraft Bedrock) for either method. I have two separate Switch Pro Controllers (1) and both give the exact same results.

Yes, this is still an issue in the latest version.

When reproducing this bug, make sure that any third party controller tools are turned off. (E.g. make sure Steam isn’t running in the background).

Actually, sorry, I found the setting for screen animations on Nintendo Switch, and the bug happens regardless of whether it’s turned on or off or Nintendo Switch.

(Tested on Switch 2 console on version 26.30.)

This also happens on Nintendo Switch, for which there isn’t a setting to turn on or off screen animations (as far as I’m able to see). Meaning everyone playing on a Nintendo Switch (1 and 2) has this bug.

This is still an issue and I’ve also experienced it with chains and glass panes. (Iron golem got stuck in a glass pane window, and copper golems got stuck in chains).

I mainly experience this issue when scrolling with the right joystick. The lag gets worse the more different items you have in your inventory. Inventory recipe book comes to a complete halt with approximately half the inventory filled with different items (23). For the crafting bench, this happens with approximately 16 inventory slots filled with different items.

Still an issue on Nintendo switch 1 and 2 on version 26.0.

I also tried to uninstall and reinstall both the launcher and Minecraft Bedrock and it didn’t fix the issue either.

I ran the Xbox Gaming Services Repair Tool and it did not fix the issue.

This happened to me on version 1.21.100.7 on a multiplayer server. I was thankfully able to revert back to an old save. I flew into the portal using elytra. I have been through that same end gateway successfully before, a couple of months ago.
