I am having the same issue. Ive also emailed the support team and they have responded with sorry we are back logged.. i cant play any of my textures or map packs. All purchased . No way to get real contact with customer services. If you want your money back you have to do it the long winded way.
I have the same issue across many of my textures. Lit redstone lamps appear on sandstone blocks, my grass looks weird and at certain distances carpets appear amiss also..
The save data includes everything from skins, texture packs and world saves. Ive been playing for hours now with 60 FPS (Smooth as ive ever seen it). Also id like to mention ive done this fix with 6 accounts and 1 out of the 6 did return to crashes and fps issues. I cannot say why it did for sure but at a guess he redownloaded his purchases from the marketplace .
I agree with stephen henderson. I have fixed this issue by deleting the game and all game save data . I have fixed the log in issue and the fps and freeze issue. But i stick only to realms and a basic texture pack. Id rather not recreate the issue
Hi thomas, i am able to log in now. To fix this issue i first uploaded my game saves to the cloud. Deleted my game save for minecraft in system settings, then deleted the game entirely.
I then redownloaded minecraft via the eshop and i was then able to play crossplatform on my windows account. I havent recovered my game saves yet until i know this bug is fixed.
Hi all nintendo switch users. Is anyone having issues signing into windows live on your switches? Ive reported the bug and a few people have the same issue . Just wondered if we all do ?
I suggest you join another realm and see if you get the same results. I have a realm also and its also unplayable in the same manner as yours. After joining a friends realm the FPS is improved but still not stable. I have also been told by Helen Angel this issue should be resolved in this upcoming update. I feel your frustration lets wait and see what happens after 1.12.
Fps issues are much worse on realms than single player. I can confirm its fine on other devices . (To rule out a problem at my end) . Ive spent hundreds of hours testing on single player and realms and have spotted other bugs in the process. Console edition and java were more stable versions hopefully the developers can bring back that performance stability.
Spam in chat definitely causes lag spikes im guessing you guys play single player.
Nah theres a definite relation . With chat muted i get smooth framerates for long periods and when i switch it back i get powerpoint presentation style freezes seconds and minutes apart. Also its easily recreated everytime im playing. The sample size ive used is hours of gameplay. I play on realms .
Id like to ask switch users to try playing realms with muted chat and see if theres an improvement in gameplay. Id like to know if this is the cause of our frame rate issues. Thankyou ,

I have noticed better gameplay and better frame rates when chat is muted . Maybe these regular fps issues occur because of a bug with chat??? I notice there is another bug with chat (spam instructions of how to use chat).
Apologies auldrick. Keep it the good work. (Sincerely mean that) . Another point to add. I went into the nether to explore and i noticed atleast 25 ghasts and atleast 200 zombie pigman which had spawned naturally . I do mean 200. I have screenshots. That amount of mobs causes lag on switch . I used /kill command to restore fps but as they respawn naturally i expect it again. Maybe mob caps are broken?
Well you are welcome anytime . My gamertag is welshdevilxd . Also @audrick we do need some feedback as we are paying monthly and have purchased content. If nintendo switches arent viable to play realms we deserve some feedback. As far as we are concerned this section has become a forum for frustrated switch users which we all understand isnt helpful. Again give us feedback directly from the developers on this bug fix.
Before i forget i get two types of lag spikes one is where the world around me freezes but i can move around frozen entities, the other is everything freezes including the player. I have screenshots and video footage which may help
Hi rob i know how it feels. Im in the same boat. If you do stop paying for your realm send me your gamertag and you can join my realm. Mature players no griefers. Has a discord server. I found i get lag spikes during game chat on switch

There are still fps issues for online multiplayer .(realms) offline seems.to run fine
I have found a solution to get smooth fps.. I guess you already know but incase you dont . I created a new nintendo account which does not link to my windows live account and started to play in offline mode with flawless gameplay. I have spoken to developers on discord and they are working on it. Thank you helen angel...
From my pictures you will see im connected to my microsoft account yet i cannot access my purchases. I believe theres a connection issue with my account and the market place as to log in i have to do it manually everytime.
