Start downloading texture pack, wait till the download is finished and it is stuck on import. Press the home button and home to leave the game (don't quit it, just jump to the homepage) and jump back in minecraft. The import is starting then. Works for me every time.

From my pictures you will see im connected to my microsoft account yet i cannot access my purchases. I believe theres a connection issue with my account and the market place as to log in i have to do it manually everytime.

I am having the same issue. Ive also emailed the support team and they have responded with sorry we are back logged.. i cant play any of my textures or map packs. All purchased . No way to get real contact with customer services. If you want your money back you have to do it the long winded way.

This has been happening since they added the skin update for me.... I assumed they new about this and are going to patch it. Im suprised they havent fixed it or reverted it to the working system.

I have the same issue across many of my textures. Lit redstone lamps appear on sandstone blocks, my grass looks weird and at certain distances carpets appear amiss also..

The save data includes everything from skins, texture packs and world saves. Ive been playing for hours now with 60 FPS (Smooth as ive ever seen it). Also id like to mention ive done this fix with 6 accounts and 1 out of the 6 did return to crashes and fps issues. I cannot say why it did for sure but at a guess he redownloaded his purchases from the marketplace .

I agree with stephen henderson. I have fixed this issue by deleting the game and all game save data . I have fixed the log in issue and the fps and freeze issue. But i stick only to realms and a basic texture pack. Id rather not recreate the issue

Hi thomas, i am able to log in now. To fix this issue i first uploaded my game saves to the cloud. Deleted my game save for minecraft in system settings, then deleted the game entirely.

I then redownloaded minecraft via the eshop and i was then able to play crossplatform on my windows account. I havent recovered my game saves yet until i know this bug is fixed.

Potential fix .

Firstly Upload your game save to the cloud.

Secondly delete your saved data for minecraft.

Thirdly delete the game and redownload the game .

In theory you will be able to sign into your windows accounts for cross platform play. Your single player worlds will be secure in the cloud. Id suggest not to recover those maps until this bug is fixed unless you want to risk having no access to crossplatform play .

My personal experience of this fixes my FPS and log in issues. I tested my fps in the end while fighting the dragon, this was not really viable before it was a very noticeable change. 

Audrick  apologies i will stick to bug chat only . Gd work on your fast proffessional responses . Any complaints i have will go directly to mojang customer support. I advise others to do the same. 

I followed tylers instructions step by step. Sadly i lost my worlds but on the bright side i have my realms world back and the FPS issues were almost unnoticeable. Audrick is there a location i can email customer support without it taking them months to respond?

Hi all nintendo switch users. Is anyone having issues signing into windows live on your switches? Ive reported the bug and a few people have the same issue . Just wondered if we all do ?

I suggest you join another realm and see if you get the same results. I have a realm also and its also unplayable in the same manner as yours. After joining a friends realm the FPS is improved but still not stable. I have also been told by Helen Angel this issue should be resolved in this upcoming update. I feel your frustration lets wait and see what happens after 1.12.

Fps issues are much worse on realms than single player. I can confirm its fine on other devices . (To rule out a problem at my end) . Ive spent hundreds of hours testing on single player and realms and have spotted other bugs in the process. Console edition and java were more stable versions hopefully the developers can bring back that performance stability.

Spam in chat definitely causes lag spikes im guessing you guys play single player.

Nah theres a definite relation . With chat muted i get smooth framerates for long periods and when i switch it back i get powerpoint presentation style freezes seconds and minutes apart. Also its easily recreated everytime im playing. The sample size ive used is hours of gameplay. I play on realms . 

Id like to ask switch users to try playing realms with muted chat and see if theres an improvement in gameplay. Id like to know if this is the cause of our frame rate issues. Thankyou ,

I have noticed better gameplay and better frame rates when chat is muted . Maybe these regular fps issues occur because of a bug with chat??? I notice there is another bug with chat (spam instructions of how to use chat).
