if anyone has this problem and uses a VPN: try turning it off. when my VPN is enabled, i can't see any skins other than my own.

have also had this happen when testing MC-159742 - i hit a bee once, and it tried to sting me repeatedly afterwards, despite having lost its stinger

cannot reproduce. "bee buzzes", "bee buzzes happily", "bee hurts", "bee buzzes angrily", "bees work" etc. all appear in subtitles as normal on my end.

ah, that's fewer bees than i thought - it wasn't too far away, so it could've been one of my spawned bees, since i spawned more than six.
i didn't see any bees enter it, though, so that's strange - may be related to MC-159523? (i'm very certain i was looking at it when the "bee enters hive" sound played)
