Can confirm for 1.21.6 Pre-Release 4

Can confirm for 1.21.6 Pre-Release 4

Affects 1.21.6 Pre-Release 4.

The Resizing Transforms UBO... also appears on NVIDIA graphics cards. It can also exceed the capacity limit by more than 16000.

The error seems to have more to do with the Open GL debug message 1014. This is always spammed with every game tick after entering a world when graphics errors or a crash occur. Maybe this is helpful for the developers.

Also applies to 1.21.6 Pre-Release 3.

I have tested a bit. The message "Resizing Dynamic Transforms UBO, capacity limit of ... reached during a single frame. New capacity will be ... (until crash) has been appearing since the first snapshot for 1.21.6 (25w15a). This was not the case in 1.21.5. Maybe it has something to do with the bug MC-296750. As I understand it, this bug also has something to do with the UBO capacity. For me there is no connection with the actual memory capacity of the GPU or that it runs full. In my case, the entire memory is not full.

Affects 1.21.6 Pre-Release 2 as well as Pre 1. GPU is a AMD 7600XT.

I am also experiencing this error (the same output as described above with exit code -1073741819). It usually occurs when opening a world for the first time after starting the game. Since the snapshot in which the chunk range of the clouds can be changed. I can see that when I open a world for the first time after starting the game, the edges of the picture become darker. This was not the case before. Maybe this information will help. Hardware should not be the problem. GPU with 16 gb an 7900 x3d.

Ok. I want to start a new world with 1.21.3. Is this bug only a „optical“ thing or does it affect things that happen really in the chunks? Can blocks or items get lost in the process?

Did this affect 1.21.3? Because in a singleplayer-world in cannot reproduce it. Ore is it only relevant for multiplayer?

Since I am playing a long term world with version 1.16.5 my question is if this bug still affects this world in pure survival mode? Reading the history here, it looks like this is no longer the case since 1.16. Are there still constellations in pure survival mode where the bug still has an effect in 1.16.5? Unfortunately, the last comment from 07.07.2020 (Bartosz Bok) did not answer this very clearly for me.

I have avoided because of this bug so far version 1.14 to 1.14.4. I've updated my 1.13.2 world to 1.15 pre 6 now. In a few hours of play, half of the villagers in my village are despawned for no reason. That has never happened before. Play again with a backup in 1.13.2. I hope this bug is resolved in 1.16 because pre 6 will seem to be the last trial version before 1.15.

The effect as seen in the screenshot happens with in 1.13.2-pre1 new creates worlds too.

I use the fill command and replace in a range of 170x 170 blocks (about 113 chunks) the chosen ore with for example air. I compare that with a world generated in 1.12.2 (singleplayer).

@WizzBangWAI:

think you test too subjective. Use the fill command or other objective testing tools. My small tests with the fill command show that the bug is fixed.

It would be good if Andrew Jankevics with his tool or somebody else could test a complete world with thousands of chunks.

I have tested the ore generation in pre-versions 1 - 4. In pre 5 the distribution seems to be normal again. in pre 1-4 it was not fixed.

Still present in 1.13-pre 3.

Still in 1.13-pre 1.

Lapis 30% lower, Netherquartz 40% an other ores around 10%.

@ @unknown: To verify that the bug ist not fixed i used the fill command in 1.12.2 and 18w22c; 170 x 170 blocks wide; each the same world:

Coal Ore layer 1-64: 1.12.2: 23.120 / 18w22c: 22.012 = 95,12 %

Iron Ore: 13.318 / 12.314 = 92,50 %

Gold Ore: 1.208 / 1.103 = 91,31 %

Diamond Ore: 450 / 406 = 90,22 %

Lapis Lazuli Ore in severals worlds around 30 % reduced

Redstone Ore: 3.390 / 3.559 = 104,98 %

Netherquartz layer 1-32: 5.088 / 3.078 = 60,50 %

Emerald Ore: 299 / 281 = 93,98 %

Gold Ore in Mesa Biome layer 1-64: 10.899 / 10.323 = 94,72 %

Hope this issue will be fixed until the release. In 1.13. I would like to start a completely new world.

Are there any changes to be expected here? Lapis and nether quartz are still much rarer in 18w22c. And when I compare diamond in 1.12.2 with the 18w20a graphic, there is also a small difference.
