I haven't seen a full patrol for a very long time. I've only seen 1 pillager patrol, and it's not the patrol captain. I think I've only seen two, maybe three since 1.19 update.
I've tried excavating at least 5 trail ruins and all have the top part showing, but then stone. Thought maybe a bug so now I'm checking here.
Update: dug down until I reached something, and this one trail ruin I'm at, dug 10 stone blocks down and found terracotta.
It works.
It's still doing it, both single player, multiplayer, and realms.
