PS: the textures are changing (last time the sun was a picture of all its phases but now its made out of sealanterns) i have no clue whats happening right now

yea, but I have it set to auto and in 1.17 it was all good
it also happens in lava
It happened to me too, in 1.19 the sun texture was messed up and displayed all sun phases. My friend has the exact same but all of his textures are cursed so 1.19 was unplayable for him
