the same glitch with vexes and ravagers.

@violine1101 it happens between all hostile mobs,for example zombies and skeletons,with exception of ghast,guardians,elder guardians,slimes,magma cubes because they don't fight back other hostile mobs.

In superflat world I use this command:
/setblock ~ ~ ~ nether_portal

to go to the nether.

may the bug happens because of this command.

and did you do it in superflat world?

do it in new superflat world and not an old one.

if it didn't work go to nether using the command:
/setblock ~ ~ ~ nether_portal and build a floating superflat surface in the top of the nether and make sure to go up more than 20 blocks before building.

this bug rarely happens I think it happens in superflat world may be, or the problem is with my device.

here is the command that I always use:

/give @p vindicator_spawn_egg

and I discovered that the bug happens after using it in creative mode ,so get yourself more than
one and use it to spawn a vindicator and the bug will happen.

get a vindicator spawn egg using commands and turn around to make the bug happens.

I could not take a picture because I collected the armor. so if I take it after dropping the armor ,this mean that the bug is fake.
