i wasn't able to get it to start through oculus so i ditched it and was able to start it through steam vr because minecraft now uses openxr
start steam vr
open a run prompt and put "minecraft://mode/?OpenXR=true" into it
about a 10% chance it actually works
you can uninstall the oculus minecraft app if you want
i was able to get it to start but it can crash the computer like caps lock didn't respond start steamvr open a run promt and put in **minecraft://mode/?OpenXR=true it should boot but i was never able to get it to boot with the headset on my head oculus rift s
