Mods do kinda exist, they are known as behavior packs, and you can get them on the Minecraft store!

yeah, thats normal. the only way to transfer is to use the old minecraft to transfer and convert it to bedrock
in the making of bedrock for switch they must of forgot to put in the textures (oops!) so then mc just picks closest file to its name and we get some weird things. we just have to wait for mojang to put all the textures from the old game to the new one.

i had the same bug but THE ONLY FIX MAYBE if before the update you had an xbox account(posibly dont need gold im not sure)
and chose to back up your stuff to xbox live

ok, i think i know a fix 😃
(edit)ok the possible problem is you are NOT logged in to an xbox/microsoft account.
dont worry just click sign in or in your case "anmelden"
step 1: go to the minecraft store and make sure you are logged in with a microsoft account that has your stuff and coins
step 2:go to the +(plus) sign next to your minecoins then tap restore purchases
step 3: enter your apple id password(dont comment it here!) so the apple store knows it is you and hit done!
step 4(getting really close!)go the packs you downloaded and download them and world that are locked should get unlocked!
step 5:enjoy!!! 🙂
Was it on a realm? Sounds like a corrupted world. See if you have any backups, and try to load them.
