So, is the shrieker supposed to drop when mined with silk touch in survival (bedrock)? I keep reading everywhere that, yes, it should drop, but it's not. And then I read within these reports that say when it's not dropping, it's "working as intended". Can someone confirm for me please? I'm traveling through an ancient city at the moment and would really like to know if I can obtain them in survival before I break another one.
Our game went through the most recent update a couple days ago and all of a sudden there are no spawners. We were going through a mineshaft last night and found 3 spider web filled rooms, but no spawners. We also wound a dungeon within the mineshaft that also had no spawner. This is an existing world we've been in for a while and have never run into this issue before. The minshaft was at about y=-40 or so.. so it was a deep mineshaft.
This problem started again with the most recent update.. it's killed me twice now because the lag comes at the wrong times.. usually right in the middle of battle! Please fix asap.
Found the ancient city around worldspawn and its fully intact!
